All right California what are you thinking. In 2008 Californians voted for change. California apparently wanted so much President Obama won California with 61.1 % of the vote. You voted for change we received the so called change wrapped in steel curtain, democratic establishment wrapping paper. Is that why you insist on keeping Barbera Boxer one of the Farthest from center democrat in congress today. She might be as Far Leaning Left as they come and it needs to CHANGE.

I recently saw a advertisement paid for by the Barbera Boxer campaign, that questioned her campaign rival Carly Fiorina's proffesional career as the CEO of Hewlett Packard. Carly Fiorina who just two weeks ago in a Rasmussen Poll was leading Boxer by at least a point. Now of course Fiorina is a new comer to the Political Scene but she is now finding herself trailing Boxer by a Six point margin.


Why my fellow Californians, Why do you lay down for the establishment. I would like to go over the track record of Barbera Boxer. In the 17 years that she has been The # 2 California Senator what has she accomplished. In 2009-2010 most of the major legislation that she introduced dealt more with our national park systems, our ecosystem and there was one bill introduced covered Isreal's missile defense system. Why not our Defecit, Education, you know the important things that we as middle class americans have to think about on a everyday basis.

Why then would Boxer who is a Democrat Establishment politician sponsor anything that has to do with weapons, when she votes against defense appropriation bills, unless of course the DREAM ACT is ponied alongside or a amendment to repeal "Dont ask Dont tell". She's Jewish. Its all about politics. Especially in a election year when she needs the Jewish vote.

Are you that cowardice to vote her out. We need change. We need change in California that sticks, change where the voters will hold acountable the politicians that they vote into office. You know i dont blame Boxer, Feinstien, Pelosi, Reid, Obama for there policy. I blame Californians along with Americans who stood by while there country was getting stolen right from beneath there noses. You voted for Obama and now every time you listen to him on the TV you see yourself yelling at the TV " why haven't you fixed our economy, im still without a job and my family is falling apart" yet you dont take the time to call your elected representative and voice your opinion. Apathy will bring our nation to its knees.

I plead with you as a friend as a american please see the path that america is heading down and change the course of action. If it hasnt worked for America and it hasnt worked for California what should we do. In 2008 America spoke. They yelled from the mountain tops that they were done with the republican establishment and the democrats took back the house the senate and the presidency. Within the last 20 months has there agenda worked. Is america in better shape than when we gave it back to the democrats. Some ecomomic indicators say otherwise.


When you go to the Voting booths ask yourself a couple of questions about the candidate in question.

Conservativism Friend or Foe of Freedom

Throughout the Nineteenth and Twentieth century the world as we have come to know has changed dramatically. From Tyrannical dictators to Sovereign states, political philosophies have come to know reality hand over fist. Most of these political philosophies have evolved over the years and different variations have started popping up all over the world. One philosophy that we will discuss is Conservatism, first introduced in the early 1800's during the french revolution to support the newly restored Bourbon Monarchy (1). Then throughout the next two hundred years the basis of conservatism would grow by leaps and bounds and establish the very fundamentals of what some
call the Republican Party.




As early as the term conservative was introduced into society the belief of revolution and radical change was soon rejected due to the fact that such change lowered the role of both tradition and authority. (1) Through tradition it is believed that most problems that occur can easily be fixed or repaired due to the fact that it had all ready happened before . Through tradition not theory these problems are easily fixed . (2) The term revolution went against the traditional authority because of the authoritative government that the revolution was rebelling with.



Since tradition is a building block for the philosophy of conservatism, a integral part of that is the definition of family and its moral values . Traditional Families define "the family " as a starting point of a man and a woman or indirectly, marriage. Conservative rule states that " the family unit is the anchor of a free society, no government has done better" Judges making there interpretation and creating civil unions is destroying our society. Let the people decide and keep government out of it. (4)



Religion is another big part of tradition in the eyes of a conservative supporter. It is felt that religion should not be kept out of society where as the government should not step in and support the removal of these icons. No where in the constitution that does it say to eliminate religion in the public eye, all it states is that government can not create a religion of the government (7) Conservative followers believe that we should not lose our religious icons from our local and federal spaces. Losing " In god we trust" and" under god " would result in a constitutional tragedy (7)



The type of government that Conservatives favor is Federalism the stripping of power to the central government and more power back to the states. This started back in the 1920's and 1930's with opposition the "New Deal" (8) Also due to the fact that a principle of conservatism is to take power away from the central government and give it back to the people or in this case the states the definition fits the word perfectly.



Many followers of the Conservative philosophy establish that the role of the government is to be very limited. Some would even go as far as stating that the governments role is to be the "Servant" not the "Master".(1) This can be interpreted that the government should not impose so much on society and rather let society run itself. That political power isn't a license to rebuild society according to some abstract untested scheme.(1) Society should in fact be run on tradition and morals that have been tested, Which both of those values are the primary structure for this particular philosophy.


The make-up of society and the role that society has according the conservative belief is very hands on. The government is to big and society is to complex for a central government to interfere with any social or economic problems. (1) It is also believed that "self-organization rather than central control" would be possible due to the complexity of social life in all communities (2) Society's view of the government is to protect them from violation of there rights and freedoms by others (3) while society governs themselves.


Conservative thinkers believe that in all levels of society poor, middle, Upper class that government should not step in and create programs that on one side multiply the poor, weak, discouraged (2) and on the opposite side government programs that limit big business should not be implemented like those of Roosevelt's new deal in 1933. In recent years studies have shown when society leans on the government for help they become dependent on them
and become " wards of the state"

Capitalism is one of the biggest liberties that the United States Of America has implemented on the basis of many freedoms that are written in the constitution. Conservatives do not support total Laissez-Faire capitalism but they do support certain sanctions on business and ideas. Conservatives do feel that regulation and suppression of business that would hinder the moral order of society should be put in place for the well being of the individual. (2)As
President Reagen said" (The Government) should work with us, not over us ; to stand by our side, not ride on our back" (5)


Taxing through the act of imposing and collecting revenue is one of the many ways that the government can function and make sure that society runs smoothly. Under the conservative theory on taxing and revenue spending all sections of government actions dealing with revenue would change dramatically. Throughout the last Presidency, with George W Bush many conservative ideas played out in the favor of society through the Bush Tax Relief in 2003.This tax relief would place " More money in the hands of those who earn it " which would help small business through tax breaks and capital incentives that would help push the market back into the green (5). By helping these small business' by letting them keep more of there revenue more jobs would be created and less government interaction in the workforce would also help in the budget.


Education or the way that are kids are taught and educated should be one of the biggest priorities that are society should come to face. Some people conclude that the best and easiest way to fix a problem is by spending money to come up with a better way to save money. With a conservative belief that the school system has turned Into one huge bureaucracy the first thing to do would be to reform the way money is spent on public schooling through the collection of taxes. Education is about learning not spending (4) Another Huge area of concern is the Health care industry conservatives believe the government should also play a small role in this sector and that medicare should be privatized. (6) Stating that each person should be responsible for their own support, health care, and retirement.


The belief that everyone on this earth is created equal has many different concepts in the conservative philosophy. The belief of equality in the workforce is unquestionable. Our society will benefit if any and every person be able to thrive off of capitalism. (5) On another level of equality, a society of equal individuals make up that societies traditions. which is a very integral part of the thought process for most conservatives. In which they believe that learning through tradition is much better than " rebuilding a society on some abstract, untested scheme" (1)

Within the study of the individual beliefs of this philosophy sit a certain number of rights that conservatives feel very strongly about. A topic that sits in the minds of millions of people and which is written in the Bill of Right in the U.S Constitution is the right to bear arms. This conservative assembly feels strongly about protecting one self by the right to bear arms. Either on a local level or national level as well. (6) One idea is that gun laws wont stop criminals but a individual bearing arms will. (7) On the federal level most conservative thinkers supported both the Iraq war in 2001 and for a stronger national defense.


One personal right that conservatives don't agree with is the right to have a abortion free from government control. A fetus is a living person, human life begins at conception and nobody has the right to willfully murder with no
recourse. The fight against pro choice should be by the people not by a judge. (4) The abortion industry is a multi billion dollar industry, if the government imposed a federal tax on abortion the revenue from that could support local or
federal foster programs that would have no need for the taxpayer aid.that it all ready incurs


A subtle yet very distinct idea that is popping up all over the place with conservatives is the idea of giving. Letting us know that society has the responsibility help others that are in need of help. (4) It is even said that
because private individuals donate billions of dollars to charities and those charities prosper and help the betterment of mankind it shows the governments inability to govern themselves. (4)



The final belief that i have come across is the belief of foreign relations and war in the eyes of the conservative. As i mentioned earlier many supported the war with Iraq in 2001. There was two main reasons why the conservative supported the war. The first was the idea of spreading democracy to other nations by giving them the means to start there own government (7) which is not based off a tyrannical leader. The second idea was the United States in general does not agree with the United Nations due to there inability to act in the favor to resolve world peace. So the US has taken it upon themselves through representative democracy to stop these atrocities on there own accord. Although the United States cant be everywhere we at least have to start somewhere.



The conservative beliefs outlined in this paper have been worked on for the past 200 years through tradition and evolution, they did not happen overnight, they were not created by a totalitarian dictator or a aristocratic ruler. But by the fundamentals of "by the people, for the people" a total sovereign ideology that i am proud to say that i believe in which i didn't know until writing this paper.

In late 2009 the scientific world was rocked by a streamline of emails that made its way from one of the top scientific research facilities in Europe to the mainstream media. Weather you are a liberal or a conservative, The content of the emails was most shocking leading some to believe that Global Warming was in deed a fallacy or just a group of corrupt scientist that simply fudged the number.

There are always two sides to every debate, unfortunately this is such a heated and intense debate that it has even been taken on by some very important political buffs. On one side of the fight you have the liberal point of view that calls for immediate action and intervention aided by the federal government. Leading the way is Al Gore and his Inconvenient truth,a film that won a academy award for its ominous but seemingly truthful storyline. No matter what the agenda most of the population watched and formed a opinion that they were somehow behind this global warming scare and that it was up to them along with the federal government in order to change it.

Of course on the other side of the aisle you have the conservative point of view. This idea believes that government intervention is a waste of time and more importantly money, a idea that is prevalent among all conservatives that a decrease in government spending and small central government is a head in the right direction. Most conservatives can even point to the newly introduced bill in the United States Congress which has been named " Cap and Trade" or as some have come to call it "Cap and Tax" which aims on having companies purchase pollution credits in a energy exchange and puts a cap on the on industries that emit the worst pollutants or produce fossil fuels. In a Story written by Ken Calvert of Press Enterprise named " Cap and Tax bill would slam families and drain economy" the author illustrates that the 1200 pages bill is simply taxes on the American family along with the rise of fossil fuels. Is this the Government intervention that we need. Especially in a time when families across the U.S are barely scraping by. Would more taxes on and higher Fuel prices be the right thing to pursue. Is this Ethical? Is this Moral? To the current administration its " the right thing to do". Is it the right thing to do?

When you have a argument that is based on science it can be a very touch and go subject. You can have a scientist that can fudge the numbers in either way. In a fox news report titled " Arctic Ice growing not shrinking" doesn't this article go against the science that was burned in to the back of our minds when we saw the huge chunks of ice fall into the water in Al Gores depiction of Global Warming. Both are backed by scientific data, but which one are we supposed to chose or believe. Science is something that can always be proved and disproved with time. We may never know what the real causes are to Global Warming is so i leave it to the conscience of the reader, to debate whether we are just going through one of the many cycles that the earths atmosphere has gone through or that humans are the direct cause of Global Warming

American Exceptionalism

I don't understand it I don't understand what is happening to our society. I don't know weather to throw up my hands in the air and scream to heavens the time has come we as a nation have gone down the wrong path for to long and its now time to pay the boat man at the river Styx.

Its unbelievable actually, we as a nation have progressed so far that we have hit the glass ceiling and cant push through on to the next level. The level that houses bigger and better things. Throughout American History we have progressed far beyond any ones expectations with what we were both granted and put up against. Our scientist are some of the best in the world, our field of medicine is hands down the most productive and successful compared to the rest of the world. Where many doctors from abroad come and learn in our Medical schools and learn our medicine so they can take the experience and knowledge back to there countries so they can improve the standard of living through medicine and health.

Our field of Weaponry and Military strength is capable of unmentionable, unthinkable things that we dare not talk about but will use if forced into a corner. Remember Hiroshima. We as a nation were reluctant to send out the nuclear weapons after 9/11 in fear that a nuclear war would ensue. But those who have a bigger stick carry the most power or something like that.

Some of our academic institutions on the collegiate level leads the pack in graduation rate, educational experience and campus life. Many college kids or people whom graduated from college have at least one memory that they will always carry with them for the rest of there life from college. I think as Americans we believe in AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM .

AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM states that America is the leader of the forefront of the world. America is good. America is decent. As Americans we truly care about our country we care about the world. Of course we have our blunders but name one person that hasn't ever made a mistake that hasn't ever slipped up. God himself isn't perfect but he is damn close. America is a nation built on Christianity and nothing else. We have survived 230 years with the same document that we are bound to by the will and grace of god. No other country has lasted this long under one form of Government.

I have one thing to say to those who do not believe in what is stated above.

"IF YOU DON'T LIKE GET THE HELL OUT YOU DOPE"

Take your second rate socialism, your second class political ideology, take your bogus left wing liberal rhetoric keep your tyranny and give me liberty.

We have progressed to far to quickly. With the technology that we have today compared to 50 years ago, we should harness the possibilities and seize the moment. Our cars tell us how to get from point A to point B. Our cell phones can take pictures and in a instant upload them to the Internet for the world to see. Our innovative ideas impress the world over. Where will we be in another 50 years

This just goes to show you what happens when additional cost are added on to small business and corporations in times as serious and desperate as the recession that we are in right now. When government run Healthcare finally kicks in and companies are either supposed to add workers on to there Benefits package or pay newly imposed Fees for uninsured workers, you better believe that if the burden of new regulations starts to weigh down on the corporations bottom line soon after they will start to hand the cost over to the employee.

We need true reform to the program that is Social security Raising the retirement age, switching to a Progressive Price index, or a cost of living adjustment based on the rate of inflation not equal to the rate of inflation is disgraceful. Make your voice heard tell your congressman or congresswoman to focus on real reform Look up PRA (personal Retirement Account) in which a person can pull some of the money from there payroll taxes that are paid into Social Security into there PRA instead. You can make a progressive system where low income workers can save 8-10 percent of there income a year and where wealthy workers can save 2-4 percent per year. Since the account is owned by the employee if the employee passes away before or close to retirement then it would be passed to heirs through wills and living trusts etc. This program is voluntary and a employee would be able to opt out at anytime, even being able to put half into the new system and half into the old system.

Regarding Glen Becks Faith Hope and Charity

Faith Hope and Charity three little words that mean nothing to most people but everything to some people,how is is Mr Beck is able to bring anywhere from 300,000(nbcs numbers) to 500,000(Becks Numbers) people to the national mall in a hot summer day in August. Are all those people blind or have they drank the juice.

Can you name any one else on the pretext of faith hope and charity that has any religous background that can do the same. The only person i can think of is DR MLK Jr himself. The amount of people he brought to the mall, numbers back when he was fighting the ultimate war for freedom and civil liberties was around 250,000 and by no means am i saying that Mr Beck is better than The great MLK. Beck merely has the tools given to him by god to draw a croud.

You also cloud the main point of Mr Becks Restoring Honor Rally with your false pretext, To Honor the Military. Faith hope and charity was simply the vessel introduced so we can start fixing our broken homes while as a country turning back to god. We need to honor the Military for the sacrifices they have endured dating back to Revolutionary war. Sacrificing so much keeping both you and I Free. Do you remember what Freedom and Liberty is. I totally understand wanting to go green and save the planet but this situation brings things to a whole new level. If you have a chance to read the manifesto of John Lee look at the hatred that he has towards every single human that lives on this earth. I don't understand his thought process in wanting to strap a bomb to himself in order to make people realize that they are the reason for the degredation of our society by reproducing and bringing into this world filthy creatures as stated in his manifesto. Even as I'm writing this down I'm having a hard time posting this, is it me or are there better ways to make change, are there better ways to get things done. I believe there are and maybe poeple on the left don't know how to get things done. Maybe that's why the left has such a problem with the tea party becuase they GET THINGS DONE in a civil and peaceful matter.
